Status of Epilepsy Surgery in Mexico and Latin America

From August 31st through September 1st, the Joint Meeting of the Section of Functional Surgery and Stereotaxia, and the Section of Epilepsy Surgery, was held in Michoacana, Mexico, with the slogan “Status of Epilepsy Surgery in Mexico and Latin America”. About 30 specialists participated in the event, which had the support of the Mexican Society of Neurological Surgery, the Society of Neurological Surgery of the West, and the Michoacana Association of Neurosciences.

Different members of the Mexican Chapter of the International League Against Epilepsy (CAMELICE), were present, and shared their professional experience at the event, which debated the research and studies most relevant to the topic of epilepsy.

Neurovirtual participated in the event, with the purpose of providing support to the meetings, which help specialists stay up to date.
