On September 16 and 17, Puerto Rico received a number of specialists in sleep medicine to attend the “4th Sleep Disorders Congress” held at the Embassy Suites in the beautiful city of Isla Verde.
Among the main themes of the conferences were “memory and sleep”, “reducing cardiovascular risk in obstructive sleep apnea, in addition to treatment with PAP,” “the role of psychology in sleep medicine” and “management of hypercapnia sleep disorders: what to do and how to do it”, among other topics and speakers. The two days ended with a question and answer session where participants were able to share information and ask practical questions.
An active participant of the event, Sleepvirtual presented its latest equipment: the BWIII PSG device, which provides a higher sampling rate, in addition to an even more modern design.
“It is always important for Sleepvirtual to attend congresses around the world. In this way, we exchange information and discuss the key needs of physicians who use our products. In Puerto Rico, we were able to show what we have of the most current, with state-of-the-art technology, “says Sergio Solis, a business consultant at Sleepvirtual.
