Neurovirtual presented our latest EEG/LTM/ICU and PSG devices at Medica 2014 in Germany, the no. 1 medical-technology industry trade show, where the latest innovations in medical equipment are presented and ideas are shared to help advance the worldwide effort to provide better care.
Neurovirtual represented the United States alongside 4,800 exhibitors from 67 nations across the world.
The daily themes covered at Medica 2014 were:
- Infection and inflammation- A discussion going beyond typical infectious diseases. Basic principles of pathogenesis and treatment were presented.
- Telemedicine and robotics- The possibilities of robotics and computer-assisted operations were demonstrated, with emphasis on surgical topics.
- Gastrointestinal oncology- Enormous progress has been made in recent years. This is considered to be largely due to the targeted and precise application of individual patient results.
- Interventional medicine- The attendees in the Medica IT forum demonstrate to the medical practitioner which technical innovations are available for medical applications, and, in return, the industry receives a stimulus from research, hospitals and private practice to develop innovations.
