On September 16 and 17, Puerto Rico received a number of specialists in sleep medicine to attend the \u00ab4th Sleep Disorders Congress\u00bb held at the Embassy Suites in the beautiful city of Isla Verde.<\/p>\n

Among the main themes of the conferences were \u00abmemory and sleep\u00bb, \u00abreducing cardiovascular risk in obstructive sleep apnea, in addition to treatment with PAP,\u00bb \u00abthe role of psychology in sleep medicine\u00bb and \u00abmanagement of hypercapnia sleep disorders: what to do and how to do it\u00bb, among other topics and speakers. The two days ended with a question and answer session where participants were able to share information and ask practical questions.<\/p>\n
