The BWIII&nbsp;EEG plus ICU was highlighted: a complete monitoring&nbsp;system, enabling the user to perform a clinical EEG and&nbsp;a PSG with the same hardware. Among other subjects,&nbsp;Dr. Elza Maria Yacubian, Professor of Neurology at&nbsp;Federal University of S\u00e3o Paulo, spoke about activation&nbsp;techniques, hyperventilation and photostimulation,&nbsp;epileptiform activity and EEG indications according to the&nbsp;epileptic syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Luis Otavio Caboclo, Neurophysiology Director of Albert Einstein Hospital, debated the nomenclature\u00a0consensus with the participants, and Dr. Miriam Guaranha,\u00a0from Sirio Libanes Hospital, presented the subject\u00a0\u00ab<em>Artifacts; How to Identify and Correct Them\u00bb.\u00a0<\/em>Neuropediatrician Dr. Paula Girotto, from Children&#8217;s\u00a0Hospital Sabar\u00e1, opened the event with the\u00a0presentation \u00abIntroduction to EEG, 10-20 and 10-10\u00a0Technique&#8230;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>According to Dr. Girotto, <em>\u201cThe interaction\u00a0between physicians and technicians improves the\u00a0recording of an electroencephalograph and also the report\u00a0quality a lot.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a their knowledge and enabled an information\u00a0exchange among them.\u00a0The chairperson of Liga Brasileira de Epilepsia, Dr.\u00a0Maria Luiza Manreza, praised the fact that the course\u00a0was extremely practical: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201c<em>The main factors that should\u00a0be researched and analyzed in the electroencephalogram\u00a0were highlighted in the course, and the difficulties ininterpreting such exams were also shown.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
