This year, Mexico hosted the 14th<\/sup> Pan American Congress of Neurology 2016, in beautiful Canc\u00fan Quintana Roo; the organization of this great event was led by the Academia Mexicana de Neurolog\u00eda and its board of directors, currently managed by its chairperson, Dr. Minerva L\u00f3pez Ruiz, and by the organizing committee, represented by the current chairperson of the Federaci\u00f3n Panamericana de Neurolog\u00eda, Dr. Marco Tulio Medina.<\/p>\n

Once again, Neurovirtual participated in the commercial exhibition with its high-end cutting-edge devices to support physicians specializing in neurology, and to support other neuroscience specialties to obtain the best tool for a better diagnostic.<\/p>\n

With more than 1000 attendees, both from Mexico and overseas, participants could participate in more than 80 workshops and sessions in which several presentations stood out: the neurooncology presentation given by Dr. Erin Dunbar from the United States, for example; another highly important topic and that had a significant audience was the presentation given by German doctor Volker Limmroth, who talked about multiple sclerosis ( (real-life experience with treatment).<\/p>\n

The presentation of posters and e-posters with topics such as \u201cCerebrovascular Diseases,\u201d \u201cNeurodegenerative Diseases,\u201d \u201cEpilepsy,\u201d \u201cNeuroinfections\u201d, among others, make the visit of the event\u00b4s attendees to the stands more appealing since those in charge of these presentations commit themselves day by day to conduct a more thorough investigation and provide all visitors with further information.<\/p>\n

At the event\u00b4s closing and gala, Neurovirtual gave away, through a raffle, a BWII EEG electroencephalography device, whose lucky winner was Dr. Lorenzo Hern\u00e1ndez, from the city of Toluca, Mexico state.<\/p>\n

We would like to once again thank the organizers for having welcomed us one more time to this extraordinary event.<\/p>\n
