Neurovirtual News:<\/strong> Tell us about your training in sleep\u00a0medicine.
\nKaren Nieto:<\/strong> I am a physiotherapist, I have nine years experience\u00a0working in sleep medicine. I performed my training in\u00a0Vitoria, Spain at the Txagorritxu Hospital with Dr. Joaquin\u00a0Duran and Dr. Ramon Rubio and their entire team.<\/p>\n

NN:<\/strong> When did the business relationship with Neurovirtual\u00a0begin?
\nKaren Nieto:<\/strong> In 2010, we acquired Neurovirtual BW II PSG systems.\u00a0Then, in 2012 we acquired BW 3\u2019s, and we are currently\u00a0working with their new BWMini PSG\/HST<\/a>.<\/p>\n

NN:<\/strong>When Neurovirtual presented the new BWMini PSG\/\u00a0HST<\/a>, what was your first impression?
\nKaren Nieto:<\/strong> I found the product very interesting for use as a\u00a0type 1 in our sleep laboratory and as a type 2\/3 home sleep\u00a0testing device from a patients home.<\/p>\n

NN:<\/strong>During your first live home sleep testing study with\u00a0the BWMini, what was the patients opinion related to the\u00a0device?
\nKaren Nieto:<\/strong> The first patient that we performed a study with the\u00a0BWMini<\/a>, already had an in-lab sleep study done before in\u00a0the sleep laboratory. With the BWMini<\/a>, he reported feeling\u00a0much more comfortable and at ease being at home, and\u00a0enjoyed the flexibility of changing body positions freely.\u00a0At the sleep laboratory he was not as comfortable and feared\u00a0that changing body positions would disconnect a wire\/\u00a0sensor. Having all of the wires centrally placed on the unit\u00a0placed at his chest lowered those concerns and in result,\u00a0the patient\u2019s level of anxiety during the recording was diminished.\u00a0With regards to handling the unit, it seems to me that the\u00a0sensors\/accessories are very easy to use since they are the\u00a0same that we have been using with our other Neurovirtual\u00a0products. Overall the system is very user friendly and the\u00a0connections are very easy to locate.<\/p>\n

NN:<\/strong>What was the most striking feature in the software of\u00a0BWMini<\/a>?
\nKaren Nieto:<\/strong> It is very important to us that the BWMini software\u00a0share the same software platform with the other products\u00a0since we are very familiar with it. Overall, the software is\u00a0very user friendly, the time needed to start the study is adequate,\u00a0scoring\/review is easy for our physicians and allows\u00a0them to edit any type of report quickly, those are a few positive
\nthings about the software.<\/p>\n

NN:<\/strong>How would you rate your customer\/vendor relationship\u00a0with Neurovirtual?
\nKaren Nieto:<\/strong> Our relationship is really very close: They have\u00a0always given us the support and advice we need from the\u00a0business, clinical, and engineering side. I think it is quite
\npositive at the time.<\/p>\n

NN:<\/strong> Finally, what do you like about Neurovirtual in general,\u00a0related to the following items?
\nKaren Nieto:<\/strong>Products are very intuitive and user friendly, reliable,\u00a0and have a very good track record. The quality of the\u00a0signals is adequate.
