The event was held in Mexico City, at the Sheraton Maria Isabel, and was attended by over 600 Epileptologists, Neurophysiologists, Neurologists, Neuro-surgeons, students and more.<\/p>\n<p>The main topics discussed at the conferences were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Epilepsy at childhood;<\/li>\n<li>Adult Epilepsy;<\/li>\n<li>Epilepsy and pregnancy;<\/li>\n<li>Legal aspects of the epilepsy;<\/li>\n<li>Epilepsy surgery;<\/li>\n<li>And other important topics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Represented by current president, Dr. Gerardo Qui\u00f1ones Canales, the organization is always generating awareness and emphasizing Epilepsy within Neuroscience.
