Organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/sono2021.com.br\/\">Brazilian Sleep Association<\/a>, Brazilian Sleep Medicine Association and the Brazilian Odontology Sleep Association, the XVIII Brazilian Congress of Sleep was a complete success. The event took place from December 12th to 15th, at Frei Caneca Convention Center, one of the most prestigious event spaces in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following all health protocols to ensure the safety of all attendees, the congress had eight conference rooms and more than 170 specialists from different Sleep areas. Essential materials to keep innovating their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company presented <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/elastic-goodall.132-148-76-14.plesk.page\/br\/equipment\/bwanalysis-sleep-diagnostic-suite\/\">BWAnalysis Sleep Diagnostic Suite<\/a><\/strong> Software demonstrations and their polysomnography equipment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/elastic-goodall.132-148-76-14.plesk.page\/br\/equipment\/bwiii-psg-plus\/\"><strong>BWIII PSG Plus<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; with its functionality that allows performing an EEG and Polysomnography from the same hardware and software platform;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/elastic-goodall.132-148-76-14.plesk.page\/br\/equipment\/bwmini-hst\/\"><strong>BWMini HST<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Lightweight and portable, the BWMini HST amplifier is designed for HST Type 3 exams (27 channels);<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/elastic-goodall.132-148-76-14.plesk.page\/br\/equipment\/hst-compass\/\">BWMini HST Compass<\/a> <\/strong>&#8211;&nbsp; modern, complete and compact for recording type III unassisted polysomnography home exams.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than 50 visitors a day came to visit the two stands. &nbsp;Both were very well located near the conference rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Future of Sleep Medicine and Neurology<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During those four days, many relevant topics regarding\u00a0 \u200b\u200bsleep and neurology were presented.\u00a0 About pediatrics, Dr. Leticia M. Santoro F. Azevedo, from the Child\u2019s Institut, Clinics Hospital, University of S\u00e3o Paulo, gave a lecture about Child Polysomnography II as a tool to diagnose Childhood Sleep Disorders and about non-REM Parasomnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Alan Eckelli, professor at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo in Ribeir\u00e3o Preto (Brazil), discussed his opinion on Sleep Apnea Diagnosis and Treatment in Brazil, with its realities and challenges. There were also discussions about Epilepsy and Sleep Differential Narcolepsy Diagnosis and also on Wearable Devices for diagnosis and management of sleep disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, during the four-day event poster sessions, more than 190 works focusing on \u200b\u200bsleep were presented.
