Neurovirtual organizes the Latin American Symposium on Electroencephalography 2025 in Cancún

On September 5–6, 2025, Neurovirtual had the honor of organizing the Latin American Symposium on Electroencephalography, held in Cancún, Mexico. The event brought together more than 120 physicians and neurology residents from across Latin America, establishing itself as one of the leading scientific meetings dedicated to advancing EEG diagnostics in the region.

Under the direction of Dr. Paul Shkurovich Bialik, the symposium featured a high-level scientific program, combining lectures with clinical case discussions. Topics ranged from the fundamentals of EEG to advanced applications in epilepsy, sleep disorders, brain death, and monitoring practices in intensive care units. Distinguished speakers included renowned specialists such as Dr. Luis Carlos Mayor Romero, Dr. Horacio Sentíes Madrid, Dr. Oscar Sánchez Escandón, and Dr. Lourdes DelRosso.
