The 36th Congress of the Brazilian League of Epilepsy took place in Recife in the state of Pernambuco. The 3rd International Epilepsy Day Brazil-Latin America also took place during the same event. There were lectures given by nationally and internationally renowned specialists in order to promote qualified education and to spread the knowledge of new technologies.
The congress also served as a platform to encourage the exchange between physicians coming from the great national and international sites studying epilepsy. The event hosted pediatricians, children´s neurologists, neurosurgeons, residentes, academics and other health professionals. It is estimated that more than 500 participants attended this meeting.
